Jeep Safaris near Bansko: Routes, Prices and Booking

A jeep safari near Bansko lets you travel with a driver over rough terrain and to scenic viewpoints without driving an ATV yourself. Off Road Bansko and Bansko Extreme publish such tours, with different itineraries and capacities. Compare the total per-jeep price, participant numbers and included stops rather than simply choosing the lowest displayed figure.

Routes and what to expect

Off Road Bansko offers a Day Safari with scenic and photo stops, a Sunset Safari and a longer Explorer Safari. The standard descriptions do not publish a detailed map or name every stop. Ask for the itinerary for your date, including any walking and time outside the vehicle.

Bansko Extreme's two-hour tour with a driver describes a viewpoint over the Bansko valley, ruins of an old settlement, two unnamed lakes and St. Nikola Waterfall. The waterfall name also appears in the tourism ministry's Dobrinishte information. This does not establish that every stop is accessible in all weather; confirm the actual route and do not identify the unnamed lakes as particular high-mountain lakes.

Prices and durations

On 19 October 2026, Off Road Bansko lists these per-jeep prices, with a stated capacity of up to four people:

  • Day Safari: approximately two hours, EUR 155 per jeep.

  • Sunset Safari: approximately two hours, EUR 170 per jeep.

  • Explorer Safari: approximately three hours, EUR 210 per jeep.

Sparkling wine and soft drinks are described for the Sunset Safari; do not transfer those inclusions to other tours. Longer tailor-made trips are priced on request.

The live Bansko Extreme page lists its two-hour driven tour at:

  • EUR 130 per jeep for up to four people.

  • EUR 140 per jeep for five people.

  • EUR 150 per jeep for six people.

These are specific offers, not a regional average, and the prices are not per person. Confirm whether capacity refers to guests excluding the driver, how children are counted and whether all fees, fuel, meals, attraction entry and travel to the starting point are included. Self-driving is a different product and is not part of this price comparison.

Where do the tours start?

Off Road Bansko gives Bansko as its location but leaves the exact meeting point to be confirmed. Request a map pin and time; do not treat the general coordinates on its homepage as a confirmed departure point.

Bansko Extreme lists an office at 113 Pirin Street, Bansko. Confirm whether your tour starts there or at another agreed location. Plan your journey from your particular Pirin Golf property separately, and ask whether resort pickup is available and what it costs. Do not assume a transfer is included.

How to book

For Off Road Bansko, use the tour pages and availability requests, call +359 896 060 960 or email booking@offroadbansko.com. Its website has official WhatsApp and Viber links. The homepage describes a 20% deposit and paying the balance on the tour day; confirm payment methods and cancellation conditions in writing before sending money.

For Bansko Extreme, use Order Now on the jeep tour page, which opens an enquiry form, or contact +359 886 705 568 and banskoextreme@gmail.com. Ask for deposit and cancellation terms specifically for a jeep safari: its general refund page is largely worded around ski lessons and should not automatically be applied to this tour.

Give your date, adult and child numbers, exact ages, preferred tour and transfer requirements. Request confirmation of the total price, vehicle, stops and guide's language. An availability enquiry is not an automatically confirmed booking.

Children and individual needs

A family-friendly marketing label is not sufficient confirmation that every child can participate. Ask about an appropriate child seat or booster, seatbelts, minimum age and a gentler route. Do not rely on a child seat being provided without arranging it.

Rough terrain involves jolting and getting into a vehicle that may sit higher than a normal car. Discuss participation restrictions, accessibility and any walking to the stops in advance. For practical preparation, bring closed-toe shoes, water and weather-appropriate clothing, and follow the guide's instructions.

Season, timing and route access

Off Road Bansko publishes daily contact hours of 10:00–18:00, with Sunset Safari departing about an hour before sunset. This is not a fixed year-round departure time. Confirm operation on your chosen date, winter conditions, possible route changes and bad-weather rescheduling; ask Bansko Extreme for your specific departure time when booking.

Off-road advertising does not mean unrestricted access to Pirin National Park. The environment ministry highlights motor-vehicle restrictions outside designated, marked roads without park directorate permission. Request a route that respects current restrictions; this guide does not certify permission for a particular trail.
